One person is in critical condition after a gun went off during a fight on the Las Vegas Strip early Monday morning, according to police.
The incident was reported just before 12:20 a.m., said Lt. David Gordon with Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.
It began with a fight between two groups of people on the casino floor of the Venetian, Gordon said. Security broke up the fight and separated the groups, who left through different exits.
A short time later, those groups met again at the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Palazzo Drive, he said.
Four men began fighting, and at one point someone started to pull out a gun from his waistband.
