BetMGM signs deal with Oregon tribal casino for mobile and retail sports betting

Sports betting operator Roar Digital announced an agreement Thursday with an Oregon tribe operate a sportsbook and a mobile wagering app at the Spirit Mountain Casino through the BetMGM platform.

The deal with the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde includes an eventual statewide online sports betting product through BetMGM on behalf of the tribe. The system is pending regulatory approval.

Spirit Mountain Casino is the largest gaming property in Oregon. Initially, ROAR Digital will roll out an on-reservation mobile sports betting app along with the retail sportsbook.

“We have found a great partner in the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde and Spirit Mountain Casino and look forward to working with the tribe to bring a leading retail and online sports betting experience to Oregon,” said Adam Greenblatt, CEO of ROAR Digital.

The company is a joint venture partnership between MGM Resorts International and GVC Holdings. BetMGM operates 13 sportsbooks in Nevada, Mississippi, Michigan and New Jersey, and mobile sports wagering in those states.
