Bally’s appoints Tracy Harris to board of directors

Bally’s Corporation Wednesday announced the appointment of Tracy Harris to its board of directors as an independent member. Harris has more than 20 years of experience in finance, government, and non-profit sectors.

“On behalf of the entire board of directors, I am pleased to welcome Tracy Harris to Bally’s,” said Bally’s Chairman of the Board Soo Kim in a statement. “We will undoubtedly benefit from her deep finance, operations, and strategy expertise.”

Harris most recently was executive vice president, treasurer and CFO of startup insurance industry technology provider MIB Group Holdings. She also has served as CFO for UMUC Ventures, a venture capital fund established by University of Maryland Global Campus; as CFO for the Bullis School in Potomac, Maryland; as CFO for BondFactor Company, a municipal bond insurance company; and as the American Institute of Architects’ CFO and vice president of administration.

Harris currently serves as a board member for CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield and publicly traded 1847 Holdings. She is also a trustee, appointed by the mayor, for the District of Columbia Retirement Board.

“It is an honor to join such an outstanding group of individuals on Bally’s Board of Directors,” Harris said. “I look forward to bringing my experience and perspective to the board, and to supporting Bally’s as it continues to grow and expand.
