Axes donates to UNLV Gaming Institute for responsible gaming research

Axes Wednesday announced a donation to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, to accelerate artificial intelligence research about responsible gaming.

“We are thrilled to have Axe’s support in advancing our responsible gambling research into quantitative artificial intelligence applications,” said UNLV International Gaming Institute Director of Research Brett Abarbanel in a statement. “Axe’s commitment to mitigating gambling harms aligns with our own goals of employing the most advanced methodologies to understand, predict and prevent the potential harm associated with gambling. We are grateful to Axes for their dedication to responsible gambling and their contribution to UNLV research.”

Axes is a cloud information management platform that licenses actionable intelligence and applications to global gaming and amusement industries. Based in Quebec, Canada, the company’s U.S. office is in Las Vegas.
