American Bettors’ Voice adds Dr. Harry Crane to advisory board

Dr. Harry Crane Wednesday joined the advisory board of American Bettors’ Voice, according to bettors Gadoon “Spanky” Kyrollos and Billy Walters.

Crane is a Rutgers University Professor of Statistics and affiliated faculty in the graduate program of Philosophy. He has served as a University of California at Berkely visiting scholar in Mathematics; a fellow at the London Mathematical Institute; and a Rand Corporation research associate.

“In the commercial betting space today, an incredible amount of noise is introduced through inexperience, lack of knowledge, and deceptions,” said American Bettors’ Voice CEO Richard Scheutz. “Dr. Crane’s sophisticated skills and vision will help American Bettors’ Voice become a more cogent signal to better portray the reality of modern sports betting

Crane is the co-founder of the betting knowledge platform Analytics.Bet that addresses many of the dimensions of sports betting. The platform features a faculty of theorists and practitioners from the betting world.

Crane also is a co-founder of Researchers.One, a non-profit research platform for scholarly publications and research dissemination.

American Bettor’s Voice advisory board includes Brett Smiley, Brianne Doura-Schawohl, Susan Hensel, Allison McCoy, Eric Raskin, Adam Robinson, and Crane.
