Alpha Video recently announced it will be known as Alpha going forward. The Minneapolis provider of audio, video and broadcast technology solutions for industries including casinos and esports made the change to reflect the wide range of its products.

“Today our expertise extends so far beyond video that the old name no longer felt true to who we are,” said Alpha CEO Kevin Groves in a statement. “The first thing our clients, partners and stakeholders will notice is our updated brand look and feel, but that’s just the most visible aspect of a much broader strategy in service of our mission, which is to deliver exceptional and captivating experiences that inspire, educate and entertain audiences on any scale.”

Alpha has provided technology, including software, hardware, integration, support and creative services, to more than 125 casinos.  The company also has worked on sports stadiums, broadcast environments, and board rooms.

“Casinos recognize the advantages that come from our breadth of capabilities and the cross-pollination of ideas from one market to another,” said Groves. “We’re able to present casinos with a broader array of possibilities and translate them into unique customer experiences. The result is a richer and more distinctive array of solutions that translate directly into competitive advantage.”
