Acres Technology tapped Wall Street for its newest executive.
David Bain, a 25-year veteran of investment banking and corporate finance, was Thursday introduced as Acres’ chief financial officer. Most recently an analyst with B. Riley Securities, Bain has expertise in leisure capital markets including the slot and gaming equipment supply sector.
“David can work anywhere he chooses and having someone of his caliber join our team as CFO is a powerful vote of confidence in our vision and our future,” said Acres Founder and CEO John Acres in a statement. “David’s leadership will help us maximize profits for our customers, partners and stakeholders.”
Before working in finance, Bain was an entertainment attorney, and earned a juris doctor in corporate law from Loyola Marymount University’s Loyola Law School in California.
“Acres is again revolutionizing the casino industry and I’m excited to join the team to help grow value for all of our stakeholders,” Bain said. “I have enormous respect for John’s vision, passion and execution that has led casino technology innovations for over 50 years.”
