A guest staying at Resorts World Las Vegas, in town visiting family, turned an early-morning spin into a life-changing moment when they hit a statewide progressive jackpot of more than $11.1 million on IGT’s Megabucks Mega Vault slot game, the first-ever Megabucks jackpot to land at the property.
Playing alongside their spouse and family on the casino floor, the guest placed a $5 bet and, after about 15 minutes at the machine, watched the reels line up just before 6 a.m. on Thanksgiving, instantly transforming an ordinary family visit into an unforgettable payday.
The last Megabucks jackpot was hit in February in Mesquite, Nevada.
